Drug treatment residential
Residential drug treatment centers are facilities that you attend mostly on a volunteer basis. Residential meaning that you will be residing at the facility the entire time to you are on the program. They provide housing, meals, courses, meetings and counseling depending on the one you choose.
Residential drug rehabs are designed for more severe cases of addiction in which the addict needs a controlled environment during rehabilitation. As opposed to drug treatment outpatient, the addict does not go back to his environment. The residential option is usually a far superior and successful choice. The environment has always been a re-stimulation also known as a trigger for an addict. Just the fact that you pull someone off of his environment is beneficial by itself. However, this is not enough.
Drug Rehab Center Services has done research through various types of residential facilities.
There are several different locations, an enormous number of programs and different durations for each residential program. How do you find the best one for you or someone you love?
The questions to ask when you are searching for a program are:
What is their philosophy on addiction?
If it is said that it cannot be cured, he will live with it all his life, he will relapse, then they are just telling that their success rate is not good.
The second important question is:
What is their success rate?
You want to know if their program produces good results. If they give you a vague answer, it’s not very optimistic. Either they have a low success rate or aftercare is poor. If the success rate is good, it will be the first thing they promote. Don’t settle for vague answers.
The last important question is:
What’s their Staff/Patient ratio?
In doing our investigation, We have found a vast panorama of different ratio’s. From 1staff/ 10 patient to 1staff/ 1 patient.
Also the length of the therapy is a key factor.
All of the above can seem overwhelming. When there is a crisis, it can be hard to think clearly and we want to take the best decision possible. Let us help.
